| ~The Basics~First Name:Katsu Last Name:Hokkaido Age:27 Rank:Ex-KazekageVillage:Suna ~The Blood Work~Gender:Male Blood Type:O Clan:Hokkaido Kekkei Genkai: Jigokuton 地獄遁 の 術 Hell Release is not another element per say but an expansion of the Katon Release. The Hokkaido clan have the "Damned Soul" and "Pure Body" which creates an inner conflict and rage like no other. This special damned soul is tormented by the heat of an ancient fire thus cursing this clan to be Masters of the flame and no other element through the creation of heat energy. This curse does have benefits however, they have a supreme mastery over fire jutsu and heat manipulation. Fire jutsu used by an Hokkaido (other than clan jutsu) are given 50% more range. The Hokkaido clan can also raise and lower their body temperatures and the area around them to survive in different environments and they do not feel the effects of raised or lowered temperatures. Due to their damned souls that are forever bonded to them, and inferno chakra, removal of either cannot be done through jutsu. All Hokkaido are born with two seals on both palms The left seal is the Seal of Pure Body(Needed to absorb heat energy and creates balance) The Right Seal Seal of the Damned Soul(Creates heat energy and Katon). ~The Physics~Appearance:- Spoiler:
Katsu stands at 6’ 3” and weighs at 220 pounds of chiseled muscle. He has raven black hair which that flows with an elegance and grace unheard of and piercing red eyes which give away his tainted lineage. His face and body are untouched by scars and bruises despite his ANBU years as a captain. By many his form is considered perfect his movements are subtle and graceful and his cheek bones high and sculpted. He is pictured as the perfect male specimen. Clothing: His clothing is the modification of a flack jacket into a dyed blood red hide to resemble dragon scales. A thermal undersuit are black color and barely visible to the eye. It has front scroll patches on right and left lower rear slots and has a zipper up the middle spinal column, including protective shoulder pads which extend outward over the shoulders. But due to his past as a Special Ops Brigade member he is also wears the clothing from that organization as well. His clothing, when he is not on duty, is somewhat unusual: he only wears black and red of anything. Though he is rarely seen outside of his shinobi attire. Height:6'3 Weight:220 ~The Traits~Likes:Katsu doesn't have lot of things you can say he really likes. But if there were anything katsu would like. Katsu would think it was the killing and misery of others. He doesn't really understand it fully but he does know that he has something for killing. It wasn't just because he was so good at it, oh no it expanded way pass that. The thrill of slicing someone thoart or ripping there arms off, or even burning them alive gave katsu great pleasure. He really didn't believe that there was any feeling better then that, and if there was he had not known that pleasure. Dislikes:Katsu dislike alot of things. For one he couldn't stand an unskilled shinobi or in unpolished swordsmen. Though things just really worked his nerve he didn't even care if they were genin, seeing as though even genin to a point know or atleast should know how to do basic jutus. he didn't expect alot out of them but knowning the basic should have been something they mastered while they were in school. Another thing Katsu didn't like where shinobi who believe that they were so skilled and so strong, when in fact the olny thing skilled about them was how they talked about being skilled. He felt as though a shinobi skills could only be tested on the battle field and not on what you say. So if he had not seen your skills for himself you were already wealking in his book. Personality: A cold and calculated individual he strives for perfection. He has an innate ability in the art of strategic combat and excels in the art of assassination. He is a philosophical young man and sometimes even poetic, in that he sees war as a form of art and grace and the battlefield as it's canvass and the blood of his enemies as his paint. He excels in the art of Ninjutsu based upon the belief that only the strong should survive. He has mysterious tendencies and his clans natural morbid qualities only add to that attribute. Though analytical he is quite ruthless to his enemies he is methodical in his methods and just as cold and calculating when dispatching his enemies. he is a perfectionist in the highest form. He hates all weakness in all people especially in himself. The belief that one can allow himself to be defeated by one with less training or inferior intellect is beyond him and mostly his undoing. Thus he trains rigorously to become the best and to unlock all his clans secrets and destroy all who stand in his way. Attitude: Very cold and slightly aggrorant, he seems as though he believes he is better then any and everyone he comes in contact with, and due to him being correct thus far in his life it only fuels the way he thinks. He gives out the vibe that he really doesn't care about anyone but himself. ~The Armada~Primary Weapon:Support Weapon: Kunai Support Weapon: Shuriken Support Weapon:Smoke Bombs ~Skill Information~Skill Specialty:

Growing up Arc:
At the age of 3, Katsu had already understood most of the complex purposes and traits of his clan, and fully adopted it as his own. From this early age, he clearly showed signs of serious and responsible adult behavior; not playing with other children, always found studying, and watching and studying others as best he could in silence. How Katsu viewed his entire clan at the time was that they were a simple faction of guards to the government and a significant variable to the improvement of man. He also decided at this time that he would help them in any way possible to see their goals come through successfully.
At the age of 4, Katsu had became aware of the falling out of one-third of the Hokkaido branches, and witnessed their hatred grow from this now rival clan that went by the name of Pryce. Certain members of the clan felt that an attack was coming eventually from this rival clan of theirs, and they already began to pack their valuables before sending their children off towards a neighboring village, Suna. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months of the children staying with one Hokkaido adult member at this neighboring village. After awhile the feeling that the Pryce threat began to fade away from them as they believed that the tension had begun to die down. But it didn't take long for news to reach this neighboring village that every Hokkaido clan member had been slaughtered in their home village, and it was reported that there were no survivors.
Suna Arc: - Spoiler:
Katsu was astonished, but mostly hurt to the point of confusion why would their own blood attack them to the point of extinction. This question plagued him throughout most of his life in Suna and it began to shape him into a deep thinker on the different aspects of life. It wasn't until a few years later when Katsu began to be taught the different forms of ninja arts, as it became heavily assumed that the clan's survival now rested on these last few survivors. He joined the academy of the village, and quickly learned all of the basic jutsus that were standard for all shinobi to become aware of. He did exceptionally well at the academy, because his understanding of ninjutsu and genjutsu as well as concepts and the importance of situations was very high. The boy would pass the Suna Academy with flying colors before he moved his thoughts onto other things.
After graduating the academy at the age of seven, Katsu soon became interested in his own clan's techniques and jutsus. He began to study the performances made by the one elder Hokkaido member and then began to realize each of their philosophies. Because of this however, Katsu began to discard all of the taijutsu's philosophies altogether, as he was not interested in fighting his opponent hand to hand or even confronting his enemy in battle most of the time. He felt that hand to hand combat solved nothing between the different ideas of the opposing forces that decided to fight each other, and instead, dedicated his energy to better understand these different ideas of others as well as delve deeper into his own clan's history. He studied and trained with only his clan's defensive style of taijutsu before moving on to learn basic genjutsus and ninjutsus even further.[/spolier]
Genini Arc:
Throughout his stay in Suna, he has managed to meet the princess of the Hokkaido, Amaya. Katsu usually keeps to himself with his elder at this point unless having regular meetings with whatever current person is Kage of the village. He is certain that the newest Hokkaido comer is somehow different from the current three that occupy Suna, and only watches Lex from a distance as he feels he should not make contact with him at that point.
At age 10, Katsu became quite knowledgeable at watching other people and studying their habits successfully to the point of guessing how people act and react on a regular basis. He has been obsessively watching other people in the village, but has purposely stayed away from Lex throughout his entire time in Suna. He has also asked the Kazikage not to let himself or his elder be revealed to Lex at any cost, as Lex seemed to have been pursuing something different than the clan's original goal that was unfitting to him. In the meantime however, Katsu continues to train and study the ninjutsus and techniques he has learned since graduating the academy, making himself an exceptional Genin for the day that he awaits when he must act on his desires.
From there Katsu began to practice one of the lost styles of their clan that was created by Vincent, the Heki Risu Style. However he didn't bother learning the taijutsu form of the style, and only learned the genjutsu part of it. This style was key to his development. He trained for three years under this style, currently now at 13 years old and being dormant in Suna village with his single Hokkaido elder watching over him.
Chuunin Arc: - Spoiler:
Katsu left with Lex to go to Kohona after the most recent attack made on Suna for their announced Chuunin Exams that allowed Genin from other villages to enter and participate. During and between the matches of the exams, Katsu happened to stumble upon Patrice, his close friend, during the time that he was observing and analyzing the villagers of Kohona. Reuniting for the first time in ten years, the two begin to talk about a lot of things dealing with the Hokkaido clan. Despite Patrice's current knowledge on their own clan, Katsu began to explain on some of the things that had happened as of recently. And after a few minutes of conversing, Patrice would slowly realizing that Kohona was dangerous for her and her beliefs. Katsu insisted that she leave, but she was determined to give the people a chance to change their ways. Not wanting to go against his Friends' wishes, he only hoped the best for her before returning back to his matches.
After his match with Ivy Ghubier, Katsu would return to Patrice's residence and inform her that he was about to leave Kohona and return back to Suna with his clansmen Lex. Insisting that she make something for him to remember her by, she suggested that the two work together to make new weaponry for him so he could continue protecting the people of his village. The two worked long and hard, and due to the experiences that Katsu had gained from his previous fights, he would figure out multiple brand new designs to weapons while Patrice added in new features to some already existing ones of his. The two created many unique gadgets that would prove to be revolutionary, instead of simple attachments and slight upgrades. With his new gear, Katsu vowed to come back to see her once again after he had their princess in their care again. He knew that Patrice was quite important, being that she was the next in line to be the head of the entire clan if anything happened to Him. He had hoped however that none of this would occur, as it was unheard of for one of their royal clan members to meet an untimely demise.
Jounin Arc: - Spoiler:
Katsu left Kohona and returned back to Suna with Lex. Due to a very high need for better stability in the village, according to Lex, Katsu would find himself helping reluctantly with Lex's building and renovating operations across the entire village. It was during this time that Katsu also began to train the weaponry that he had accumulated over the years as well as dabble into the principles of Genjutus after feeling he had nearly mastered his Ninjutus techniques. After two years, Katsu would find himself to be quite fit to be a Jounin leader of a team of his own as he continued to train and help build the village that Lex felt was fit for a peaceful assortment of people.
When Katsu got wind that Kohona was in fact doing devious things across different countries as well as hear wind of a rebel faction in their own midst, the boy found it best that he should go to Kirigakure to get their princess, no longer deeming it safe for her in the Village Hidden in the Mist due to conflicting alliance agreements on their part. It was clear that the Hokkaidos could not trust Kohona government or their people except for quite the selective few, and even then, Katsu was not pleased with Lex frolicking with the several women of an enemy nation. He felt that this would be the man's downfall, but still had faith that he would get past this point in confrontation if necessary. His only concern now was to get the princess as soon as possible, and with nothing else mattering to him, he would see this goal completed by any means necessary. Extra Information: ~The Finals~Alias: Best Way to Contact: RP Sample: Katsu sat staring at nothing particular, his facial features set in stone with it’s usual stoic dameanor. The boy next to him forced out a smile and almost got the courage to muster out a few words before Katsu head snapped toward him, those lifeless eyes at that point held a infinite amount of hatred that hit the young boy to his core. The boy was so terrified that he couldn’t move and those few seconds seemed like forever before the Hokkaido turned around slowly to look back into the endless sand that plagued the wind country. As he looked on into the dessert, a glint of light caught his attention. At first he had dismissed it to the mirage effect that can sometimes trick the eyes but after he ran it over in his head once more his voice was merely more than a whisper yet resonated throughout the wagon due to it’s depth. Stop the wagon……..now…… he stated rather firmly. He couldn’t be sure but he was almost positive that the light he saw was a signal to others that they were approaching. Katsu was sure an ambush was waiting them and as the old man screeched the wagon to a sudden halt shifting the people and inventory inside. He looked to that same spot and that flash glimmered twice more in succession this time. Strong fingers lead his hand to the hilt of his katana as the inevitable was about to occur and before long he could hear the pounding foot steps of a dozen or so men before they were drowned out by war cries. The dessert raiders were no match for shinobi of any skill level however they tend to over run the occasional unprepared ninja with shear overwhelming numbers. He refused to let that be him. He gazed out to see that they were armed with simple martial weapons and all on foot which were good. He hardly needed the trouble of Calvary. The old man would ask in a panic filled voice “Whats going on here?” Katsu simply gazed at him with the same lifeless expression that always dawned his face and said in a very low, barely audible tone “Get down….and stay down….or die, I care not” . The civilians did as they were told and gathered together in the corner of the wagon with their heads down. They looked horrified yet he had no time to take in the moment as he quickly stepped out of the wagon to locate the positions of his enemies. They had maybe fourteen men cutting off the route in front and behind them letting him know that this ambush was preplanned. “Someone knew that we were coming” He said to himself calmly as he took up the rear and hoped that his partner remembered his teachings and would take the front. Their was no terrain to hide under so guerrilla tactics were not gonna be plausible. This would have to be a head on attack, something that wasn’t really in the shinobi rule book yet there were no other options at the moment. As the enemy began to close in. Now it was about staying alive and keeping the wagons contents protected. Something told him that this mission was not going to go smoothly. Rules Password: | |
